Economy Transformers

Economy Transformers
The Economy Transformers unite a diverse group of people who are anxious to contribute to the economic and societal transition needed for a future that serves and dignifies all life on our planet.
We face crisis after crisis and who knows there is only more to come. Parallel to the process of applying quick solutions for urgent crises wherever possible, we must also dare to stop and take time to design a more fundamental plan of action that leads us to that desired future. That is what the Economy Transformers aim at. We take some time despite all the pressure around us; to connect with our inner wisdom, our collective intelligence, and the power of imagination, to co-create the economic system we wish to see in the world.
Who are we?
This community is a civil society initiative. It is an independent community and the quality and ambition are safeguarded by our board of Wisdom keepers (chaired by Herman Wijffels). Without loosing its independence, the community is always interested in linking up with partner organisations and initiatives that which for the same goals such as Earth Charter, Worldconnectors, Club of Rome, New Economic Foundation etc.
The journey
With our project partner Embassy of the Earth, we have designed a learn & work process of 1,5 years. Using social innovative tools like Theory U, Presencing, and open systems thinking models, this process facilitates a few hundred dedicated and committed individuals - cross-sector and cross-interest - to work together to come up with values, models, ideas and practices for a new economy. The outcome of the process will be depending on the wisdom of the crowd.
